The Curved Playground Border Kit

Frame it All playground borders are great for retaining safety materials and emphasizing your playground area. They also are a great weed barrier for playground areas in private yards or at schools and public parks. The boards and brackets connect without the use of any tools! Just slide the bracket on each end of the board and lock it in place with a snap-lock plug. All you need is a hammer to install the stakes.

The composite landscape edging boards are hollow, making them super lightweight for their size. Each kit also comes with both anchor and stacking stakes so you can choose to stack your edging two levels high for added containment and safety. Both our straight and curved edging are available in three different colors and two thickness profiles so you can find what works best for your playground.

Graceful Curves for Fun and Games

Curved boards allow you to follow any playground shape without containing it within blocky right angles. The brackets pivot up to 270 degrees, letting you swing the boards around sharp corners. Straight and curved boards can be connected too so you don't have to limit how you edge your playground! You can use this curved edging for garden setups and walkways, too. It's made of the same composite material as our raised garden beds and gives you the same modular design possibilities.

Furthermore, you're supporting environmental efforts by creating a sustainable curved landscape border. We use certified sustainable sourced wood fibers and recycled HDPE plastic bottles to make these composite boards. They look like real wood while having greater resistance to weathering and rot. Each board has a limited lifetime warranty! (Registration is required.)

Did you know? When determining the measurements of your playground edging, a good rule of thumb is to have twice the height of your swing set in front of and behind the swing and six feet on both sides of the swing set. So, if your swing set is six feet high, you would want 12 feet of safety surface in front of and behind the swing, for a total of 28 feet.

A Modular Board and Bracket System

You can use the same boards and brackets in this kit to make raised garden beds, water gardens, landscape edgings and even sandboxes! And if at any time you need to extend your playground border in height or length, just snap on more boards to your existing border. It's just that easy!
