Shipping Policy

How your fence order ships, what to expect at delivery, and how returns work.

Our composite fence products are large, heavy, and oversized, which means they ship differently than a typical parcel order. This page walks you through how shipping is priced, the confirmation step we complete before every shipment, how freight delivery works, and our return terms. If anything here is unclear, reach out and our team will be glad to help.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for fence products are based on the weight and volume of what you purchase and the destination it ships to. Because freight pricing depends on all three, your shipping cost is calculated precisely at checkout. The amount you see reflects your exact order and delivery address, with no estimates or surprises after you buy.

We partner only with established carriers that have real experience handling oversized freight and a track record of reliable service. When we choose a carrier, we weigh transit times, insurance coverage, and tracking so your fence is in dependable hands. Freight rates also reflect more than mileage alone. Fuel, equipment upkeep, labor, careful packaging, and specialized delivery equipment all factor into the cost of getting a heavy fence order safely to your door.

Order Confirmation Before We Ship

Before we release any fence shipment, one of our fence representatives will contact you to confirm the quantities on your order and review the freight requirements for your delivery. We will not schedule your shipment until this confirmation is complete. This step makes sure your order is accurate and that your delivery location is ready to receive a freight shipment, so your fence arrives correctly the first time.

Freight (LTL) Delivery

Freight delivery is used for large, heavy, or oversized items and for large quantity shipments, which covers our fence products. When you place a fence order, we will confirm with you that you are able to receive an LTL freight shipment. LTL shipments will not be scheduled until we have that confirmation from you.

When your order ships from our warehouse by freight, it travels on a wood or plastic pallet using a trucking company. Large trucks do not normally travel through residential neighborhoods, since they are too big and heavy for those roads and can cause accidents. Because of this, the carrier may need to transfer your cargo to a smaller truck that can reach streets with houses or areas with limited or restricted access.

Products are loaded onto a semi truck and delivered curbside. You will be responsible for moving the items from the curb to your desired location, so please plan to have help available on delivery day for heavy fence materials. Shipping times will vary based on your destination, extreme weather, and other variables.

All residential deliveries are ordered with liftgate service. The liftgate is a hydraulic platform mounted on the back of the truck that lowers your load to ground level at the curb, so you do not have to figure out how to get heavy fence materials off the truck bed yourself. It bridges the gap between the truck and the ground and keeps the unloading safer for both you and your order. LTL orders are subject to liftgate service availability, so freight shipping times can be longer than for standard parcel orders.

Packaging

Large freight needs more protection than a standard parcel, and how your order is packaged directly affects whether it arrives intact. We secure every fence shipment to its pallet with straps and shrink wrap so nothing shifts in transit. This extra preparation is built to keep your boards, posts, and hardware safe across the entire journey.

Delivery Appointment

Our freight carriers schedule a delivery appointment with you rather than leaving the timing to chance, so you know when your fence will arrive. Please plan to be on site when the truck pulls up. Being there lets you inspect the shipment and sign for the delivery, which matters if anything needs to be noted at the moment it arrives.

Damaged Shipments

We take every step to prevent damage, but freight moves through many hands and issues can occasionally happen. If your shipment arrives damaged, note it on the packing slip when the damage is visible, take clear photos, and email them to our team. Once we have your photos, we get to work on your replacement shipment right away. We handle the claim with the carrier, arrange pickup of any damaged product when needed, and make sure you get what you need to finish your fence project.

Returns and Restocking

We accept returns on fence products that are in resellable condition. Products that are not in resellable condition cannot be accepted for return, so please keep your items protected and unused if you think you may return them.

25% Restocking fee applied to approved returns
Buyer paid Return shipping is the customer's responsibility
Resellable Items must be in resellable condition to qualify

A restocking fee of 25 percent applies to returned orders, and the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us. We recommend contacting our team before sending anything back so we can confirm your return qualifies and guide you through the freight process.
